PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — Part of Interstate 35 was closed Tuesday morning due to a multi-vehicle crash.
The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash around 12:15 a.m. on I-35 southbound at Grand Avenue Parkway.
The department said in a Facebook post that Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 firefighters and paramedics responded to the crash.
The roadway was closed until around noon, with traffic being diverted onto McNeil Road in Round Rock.
DPS said four truck tractors and two passenger cars were involved.
Three people were injured in the crash, according to the Pflugerville Fire Department. One of those people was transported by Starflight, and the other two were taken to hospitals by ambulance.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
